ORIGINAL SCORE BY NICK URATA
Based on Henry James’ novel but set in today’s New York City, What Maisie Knew is a gripping and affecting portrait of a family coming apart, as seen from the vantage point of a six-year old girl who watches the adults around her behave like children.
The soundtrack album includes two tracks by Julianne Moore & The Kills – ‘Night Train’ and ‘Hook And Line’ - recurring throughout the film. It also includes Lucy Schwartz’ credit song ‘Feeling Of Being’. DeVotchka frontman Nick Urata (‘Little Miss Sunshine’, ‘I Love You Philip Morris’, ‘Ruby Sparks’), composed a touching and subtle score that perfectly fits this emotionally charged film.
