‘La Guerre Des Boutons’ is one of the most famous French films of the 1960’s. It depicts the frequently hilarious antics of two rival groups of working-class schoolboys, who meet to fight and scrap endlessly as they seek to pull each others coat buttons off as trophies of their victories.
To celebrate the release of the two new “Guerre des boutons” (War Of The Buttons) adaptations by Yan Samuell and Christophe Barratier, Milan Music is proud to release the original score from the 1962 Yves Robert movie, composed by José Berghmans. The music is interspersed with wonderfully piquant snippets of dialogue from the film.
