A true jazz legend of the big band and swing era, with hits like "One O'Clock Jump" and "Blue Skies.", Count Basie became, in 1958, the first African-American male recipient of a Grammy Award. He won many other Grammys throughout his career, and worked with a plethora of artists, from Frank Sinatra, to Tony Bennett, Neal Hefti and Sarah Vaughan.
