Miles Davis

23 September 2002
When Miles Davis returned with 1986’s Tutu his career had completely re-ignited. So it was as an international superstar he returned in 1989 to the songwriting and production talents of his former protégé Marcus Miller. The resultant album highlights the burgeoning musical partnership of Miles with alto saxophonist Kenny Garrett, as well as Davis’ enthusiasm for Zouk music, which touches the set with a sense of flamboyance and freedom.
