Susan Graham wins GRAMMY Award for Warner Classics recording

Warner Classics is delighted that their recording of Songs by Charles Ives with Susan Graham and Pierre-Laurent Aimard (Warner Classics 2564 60297-2) has won a GRAMMY Award in the Best Classical Vocal Performance category. Susan was up against tough competition: Lorraine Hunt Lieberson, Thomas Quasthoff, Angela Maria Blasi and Stella Doufexis as well as another Warner Classics recording: Karita Mattila in Grieg and Sibelius Songs with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Sakari Oramo (Warner Classics 8573-80243-2). Warner Classics was nominated for seven GRAMMY Awards for recordings by Daniel Hope, Josť Serebrier and Pierre-Laurent Aimard.
