Susan Graham shines in new opera at the Metropolitan Opera

Warner Classics artist Susan Graham stars in the World Premiere production of Tobias Picker's opera An American Tragedy at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. In The New York Times, Anthony Tommasini said, ‘The mezzo-soprano Susan Graham makes a vocally radiant and coquettish Sondra’. The full review can be read at nytimes.com. Greg Sandow, in The Washington Post, says, ‘The cast is stellar, even lavish, offering three of the world's top operatic singers, Dolora Zajick, Susan Graham and Patricia Racette… Graham, as Sondra, is vivid, even funny, and also really touching at the end, when of course she's sadly disillusioned.’ The full review can be read at washingtonpost.com.
