Leila Josefowicz records her second album for Warner Classics

Leila Josefowicz was in Birmingham, England, last week for two concerts with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Sakari Oramo where she performed Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1. The two concerts were taped for Warner Classics and this live recording, together with the Shostakovich Violin Sonata that Leila will record in New York in March with John Novacek, will be released in May 2006.
