Daniel Hope records two new albums in London

Daniel Hope has recorded two new albums in London in 10 days.
The first, recorded 31st October to 2nd November at St. Paul’s, Deptford, is a disc of works by J.S. Bach recorded with the
Chamber Orchestra of Europe including Concerto for Violin in A minor, Concerto for Violin in E major, Concerto for two Violins and Brandenburg Concerto No.5.
The second, recorded 7th to 9th November at BBC Maida Vale Studios, is Dmitri Shostakovich’s Violin Concertos Nos. 1 and 2 plus the Romance from the Gadfly. Daniel is accompanied by the
BBC Symphony Orchestra and Maxim Shostakovich, son of the composer.
