Daniel Barenboim on BBC Radio 4's Today Programme

On Monday 3rd April Daniel Barenboim was interviewed by James Naughtie on BBC Radio 4's Today Programme in the run-up to the broadcast of his Reith Lectures. You can listen to this fascinating interview online at bbc.co.uk (see 08.33). Barenboim's Reith Lectures series, which have been recorded in London, Chicago, Berlin, Jerusalem and Ramallah, will be broadcast on Radio 4, BBC World Service as well as online at bbc.co.uk. The first one will be broadcast on Friday 7th April at 09.00 (BST). Daniel Barenboim has made many recordings for Warner Classics including the award-winning Ring Cycle from Bayreuth (available both on CD and DVD), the critically-acclaimed CDs of Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier (Books 1 and 2) and the very special West-Eastern Divan Orchestra recordings on CD and documentary on DVD.
