Norman Brown

A smooth jazz giant, guitarist Norman Brown Since made his recording debut in 1992 for the Motown label, and has since established himself at the forefront of the US smooth jazz scene. In 1999 he signed to Warner Bros., for the US smooth jazz chart No. 1 Celebration. In 2002 Just Chillin’ reached No 2 in the Billboard contemporary jazz charts and won him a Grammy for best pop instrumental album, and its follow-up Just Chillin’ features
songs written by Eric Benét, James Poyser and Norman Brown himself, as well as Brown’s slick vocals, including a rendition of Marvin Gaye’s classic ‘What’s Goin’ On’.
